Hudson Area Library

This is an all around fantastic library, from the awesome, historical and whimsical armoury building, wide and colorful selection of books (inclusive kids books were a great find at today's visit) and great amenities (I haven't even explored them all). Add that to a slew of events and activities and kind staff and you have an A+ library!!nThe little kids corner is amazing and such a blessing when you have a toddler handful!!nI've also included a photo of the bathroom--it's accessible AND has a changing table!!! (When you have a little one you KNOW how precious that amenity is)nWorth a visit for all ages!

Other reviews have called it the best library in the area. That doesn't go far enough. It's the best library I've EVER been in. Even if you're just in town visiting, it's worth coming by and seeing what they've done with this amazing historic building. The library is by far one of the best things Hudson has going for it.

I don't see how anyone could find anything negative to say about the new Hudson Area Library. It's a beautiful space and offers stellar programming. They know and understand the community and adapt their space so that it's used and used well for the people's needs.

Best Library in the area! Newly renovated, open floor plan, excellent community room, awesome technology area for kids. This library has programs for everyone. Senior Center on the Second Floor is amazing and the program for young girls Perfect 10 utilizes the space too. Well worth the time to check this out. .

Best library in the Hudson Valley, bar none. The staff is excellent, the space is superb, and the programming is not rivaled by any library I've ever been to. They deserve some kind of gold medal for libraries.
