Roxbury Public Library

Really convenient curbside pick-up if you don't feel comfortable going inside. You can easily do it through their website, and when you arrive, just give them a call. Thank you for staying open while doing what you can to keep your patrons and staff safe!

Where do I begin? Well this story begins with a nervous red head who walked into the Roxbury library to get a new passport and met a extraordinary employee named Donna. Donna was super helpful and kind from the moment I stepped into a very unfamiliar situation. I told her I have dyslexia and struggle with important documents. Donna responded by saying “I’ll check over your paperwork make sure we get everything correct (with a smile).” Donna took the pressure off me and made me feel more at ease. Donnas positive attitude actually change my nervousness into excitement about my vacation. I just wanted to say thank you so much Donna!!! - Alex number 2nnP.S. The Roxbury Public Library is a great place. They have a nice looking library with a big selection of materials, they also have a really friendly staff. They also are apart of the MAIN System so that gives cardholders here access to a catalog with thousands of materials that can be sent here for pickup. I look forward to coming back here some time.

My son and I love the Roxbury library. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They always have what we are looking for. It's a great place to spend some mandatory quiet time!

I cannot say enough about the Rox Library. In regular times the staff, website, and programming is incredible. During the pandemic they have been outstanding. They have thought outside the box to continue servicing our community. When many of us are able to work from home, they continue to go in to make sure we at least have books and programs to occupy and enrich our families. Kudos to you, Roxbury Library staff. I have endless appreciation for you.
