The Watchung Public Library

The place is a joke as you can see the comment below me it’s like she is trying to sell the place well first off it a home not a library it’s literally a rundown old place with angry people there to greet you. It’s useless and their is a perfectly good library 10 minutes away in Warren.

It’s an old house, 1930s vintage, converted to a library over 40 years ago. The town is letting it fall in disrepair arguing whether to build a new library or join with Warren or ...?nThe children’s section was built 30 years ago and is well stocked with picture book, chapter book, YA, tons of DVDs. There are short tables and chairs with things to color and a half dozen building toys.

I stopped by one day since I was lost and saw a sign on children bullying. I spoken to the Director and he was so in favor not awareness but once I mentioned how adults bully in workplace, or community well he ran into the office. The sign is pretending to be of moral high ground and virtual signalling. like all bull that goes on.
