Central Jersey Rare Coins

I had a reasonably large collection of silver and gold coins and bars that were part of an inheritance. My wife and I worked with Bob (the owner) to value each coin or category (bars, graded coins, ungraded coins) based upon the current spot price for gold and silver. Bob also explained what his margin was for each category of coins/ metal (ranges from 4% on highly marketable gold coins to 20% on standard melt value silver), which seemed like a reasonable profit margin given there is a lot of expense in moving and handling coins. He provided a detailed written appraisal which we accepted and Bob gave us a check that day. All very professional and transparent. I would highly recommend this shop.

We cannot say enough good things about this location. We traveled from Morris County to finally sell a collection. We had done our homework and discussed the possibility of doing it ourselves. We knew the overall value and condition of the collection. However, we were not the collectors so little details never were knew why one piece over another. Bob went through every piece and pulled out pieces we were not aware of. It was such a learning experience as well. We are relieved this process is complete and maybe a future coin collector will enjoy all of these. Thank You Bob

I had a coin collection that was left by an uncle with an avid collection. I had the privilege of meeting Bob and Don and they took care and separated what was worth money and what was just a regular coin.
