Atlas Physical Therapy

This practice is amazing. The DPT goes above and beyond for me every visit. He cares about the health of others and wanting his patients to get better. I researched the practice after going to a chiropractor who was not fixing my lower back problem. After coming to Atlas for about a month and half, my pain was gone. I then developed another issue in another part of my back and I knew who to go to. I'm really appreciative of the care Atlas provides; even the other staff members care. They are also really flexible with your schedule. I love that. Thank you for caring about my health and wellness.

After years of working in the construction business, I had developed chronic back problems and issues with my discs. Approximately 11 years ago following a particularly strenuous workday I was in such pain that I could not even walk and working was completely out of the question. After that day, I could no longer walk upright, and for the next 6 months, I couldn't even stand up straight and had to move around hunched over. I went to see at least 5 different doctors and each of them gave me a different explanation and solution to my pain. By the end of all the visits, I was feeling worse than when I had started. After all other resources were exhausted, I finally agreed to consider having surgery, which I had been adamantly trying to avoid. The pain was so immense that I was desperate to find a fix.nnI met Dr. Sam through a mutual friend. At my first appointment, he evaluated me and asked me to give him a little time so he can start making some changes in my spine. Within three to four weeks, his hands worked magic and I was feeling much better. It took about four to six weeks and I felt like my normal self again. I remember when my two little daughters were so grateful that they wrote a thank you note to Dr. Sam thanking him for getting their dad better.nnOver the years, there have been several incidents where I have injured myself again during work. However, each time I know exactly where to go. Dr. Sam has allowed me to keep working in construction, ensuring that I have no pain, can maneuver through all my daily functions, and live a normal life. If your goal is to be pain-free and avoid surgery, you are not going to want to see anyone other than Dr. Sam.nnI’m so grateful to Dr. Sam and Atlas physical therapy that I can sleep, stand, walk, work, and enjoy my family without pain.

This Physical Therapy office is like no other. I went to Atlas with a severe burning leg pain with multiple diagnosis from my Orthopedist. Dr. Sam was able to figure out the issue immediately after evaluating me, which was a herniated L5/S1 disc in my back that was compressing my sciatic nerve and caused the burning leg pain. He is extremely knowledgeable and can diagnose by listening to what the body is saying, without having to do unnecessary/costly MRI or CT scans. Dr. Sam worked with me one-on-one and gently manually manipulated my back to help the disc reabsorb. He is the sweetest guy and a joy to talk to during the sessions. Most PT places now are like factories and that one-on-one care is no longer a thing. I was so grateful to find such a wonderful PT office! The whole staff is so friendly and personable too, it felt like they were family. I now live a few states away, but would drive back and forth to NJ to receive this type of care.

I came in with a lower back pain and sciatica and I can't even sleep at night. Thanks to Dr. Sam at Atlas Physical Therapy, after few weeks, my back was improving and I got back my quality of sleep. Thank you all so much for your excellent care. I am feeling so much better now than when I started my physical therapy. Although I hope I don't have to visit again, it really was such a pleasure to spend time at Atlas Physical Therapy. Your kindness, sincere caring, and concern make everything better.
