City Hall - City of Newark

From the entry pass the qsecurity to the clerks, everyone was so cordial. I don't know what happened but in all my years of going into city hall today was the first time when no one was cranky on had an attitude. I'm not going into my displeasure of paying such high taxes (save that for another day). On a scale of 1 to 10, everyone got a 10 today.

For the past 2yrs I been driving by the samengarbage can about to bust from the garbage,nAnd to this day it hasn't been empty Not Once.nPls sent some one to collect the trash, it makes Newark look dirty. Its on the corner ofn3rd Avenue n McCarter highway.

City Hall is still following Covid procedures. Try to pay your taxes and bills online if possible. It will save a lot of inconvenience. They want things done by appointment only.

They are short staffed in the liens department but I still received good customer service. Call ahead of time to confirm if an appointment is required; certain departments in City Hall require it. I didn't have to schedule an appointment to pay my taxes. I went at around 2 PM and there was no line to pay the taxes.

Growing up as a teen city hall was always important seeing all the political figures coming in and out and learning that they are the law maker's Newark is my home and I am proud to be here.
