Garfield City Municipal Court

I went to fight a ticket for a garbage can left outside,the judge would not let me explain and the prosecutor doubled the fine,he said you can take it to superior court,that court obviously only exist to make a profit,can't wait to move out of this town.

To be completely honest, out of all due respect for our standards of the court system in the United States of America, this court has proven time and time again that they do not care about the well being of their citizens. You are guilty before you are proven innocent. A simple parking ticket that I paid for has turned into a suspension deer hunt for me. Not only do I have to pay an expired drivers license ticket on my birthday which should have been dismissed due to it originally being the accidental suspension placed on my record, but now I have to pay an additional $200 dollars? Plus a $34 dollar service fee? Are you kidding me? What’s the sense of doing that when I don’t even have a job right now and can’t even make up the funds to pay this outrageous balance with little to no explanation. Not only that but the judge, prosecutor, staff and officers on duty are completely unprofessional. I was refused the right to a trial which is unheard of. In conclusion, the Garfield Municipal Court is a toxic, unprofessional environment that is fueled by greed. This court doesn’t even deserve the one star that is required to leave this review.

We were invited for a wedding this Saturday afternoon . The ceremony was done by the deputy mayor. He is an AWESOME man, so friendly, nice and kind. It was a lovely event and enjoyed so much!

Is it possible in smoothing out the railroad crossing at Plauderville Station for the vehicles. It is very bumpy when passing through this particular area. My vehicle shakes back and forth every time I pass through this section.

Received a ticket called every extension to schedule a court date and no one answers. I also left 5 messages at 5 different times and never returned my calls. Does this department even work or do they just get free paychecks in their accounts ?
