This school has great teachers in fifth and sixth grade but not in seventh and eight grade. Most of the teacher in seventh grade, which is my daughters grade, teach the student little to nothing new. My daughter was in advanced math last year and now she is in the regular math class, all year the teacher hasn't teacher her anything new and its the ending of the second trimester. I've been going over it in my head, and I have come to the conclusion that this will be the last year my daughter will be attending this school. I understand that my daughter was in a advanced and they learn different things t different times, but that doesn't mean the rest of the math classes should be a year behind.
It's a great school but they need to organize the dances and school events better.
HMS is a good school until you reach the upper grade levels (ex. grades 7-8)
