The transfer station is great, but the google page says they are open on Sundays and they are not.
I moved here last year and just had my first visit there. Very friendly and helpful staff. What is very strange to me after living in many towns with transfer stations is the need to buy the sticker AND a special bag. I can understand for curbside as the bags help fund that, but to charge me twice to carry trash to the dump seems like overkill with the towns hand in my pocket. Why bother buying the sticker
They are always friendly and helpful. I also appreciate how they don’t let the public get away with just dumping anything they want like it is a free for all. The sticker program where they grab it from the end of my driveway is sweet!!
FYI. Not open on Sundays.
I agree that stickers should be sold there, especially in this age of easy portable credit card charging. I also agree hours later on a Saturday would be great. Both of these things would be a great help to people who work weekdays out of town until after five pm.
