Hampstead Smiles

I have had natural childbirth 3 times and would rather do that again than have a tooth filled! I saw Dr Ruby on Monday for 2 fillings wow she was amazing. I was shaking cold and clammy. She gave me a weighted blanket and talked me through it. Thanks Dr Ruby I may be back every 6 months instead of every 3 years

The new dentist here is Dr. Ruby Chaudhary, and she's fantastic. I've been cursed with many cavities in my life, but never have I had one taken care of as quickly and efficiently as I did today. If there's one thing I want when I'm in the chair getting my teeth drilled, it's for it all to be over as soon as possible! Dr. Ruby made that wish come true, and she was still very attentive and took care to explain what she was doing and why.nnI have a mouth that has given a lot of dentists trouble over the years. I'm hard to numb, my tongue is huge, and I make boatloads of saliva. Dr. Ruby made it look super easy, and I didn't even have to hold my own mouth open—seriously, they have a (comfortable) tool that takes care of that for you. They even give you sunglasses so you won't be blinded by the lights.nnLastly, I should mention that Hampstead Smiles seems to be really on top of their COVID game. They were closed for a while, but now they're back and they are clearly taking things very seriously, as they should. The inconvenience to me was minimal (I needed to wait in the parking lot for a few minutes and answer a few extra questions, and there was a very small surcharge which I'm sure does not come close to fully covering the cost of all the extra PPE they were using) but I got a strong impression that they have a well thought out plan and are executing it consistently and competently. They are screening their patients, limiting the number of patients in the building, wearing full PPE including gowns and face shields, asking patients to wear masks inside (when not having their mouths worked on, obviously) and sanitize their hands and mouths, and I'm sure they have stepped up their disinfectant routine as well. I also saw air purifiers running, and the front desk staff were masked and even used gloves even to handle my credit card. I really think they're doing everything that can be done to operate safely during the pandemic, and I appreciate that.nnI was already a patient here when Hampstead Smiles was run by Dr. Patten, and I'm glad to be able to say that I will continue to be one. I'd be happy to recommend Hampstead Smiles to anybody.

After calling my insurance company to see what dentist accepted my insurance I decided to call this office and I'm glad I did!! I haven't been in so long that I was nervous but oddly enough excited.nI'm telling everyone about how great this office is.nI highly recommend this dental office :)nMaybe it's just me but when I got told...nsee you in 6 months, I was kinda sad :/n:)

I always have a great experience when I go to my dentist. From cleanings (every 6 months) to a filling or tooth repair, I never worry about it. I love my dental hygenist Shannon, but on the odd time when she is not available I am taken care of by the others in the office. Dr. Patten is great. I recommend them to everyone.

I have been thoroughly impressed with the service and professionalism that I have received at Dr. Patten's office. They are punctual with their appointments and the staff is friendly and wonderful. I always feel welcome and comfortable.nThank you David and your staff for doing a great job.nRay
