There were clearly breakdowns in communication, and after speaking with her I feel that some but not all of the problems or errors might have been avoided had I insisted on speaking directly with Ms. Hudkins rather than the members of her staff whom I had been told to work with. I was not criticizing the basic fee for the closing; there were other ancillary services offered which, after speaking with other attorneys, I elected not to purchase.nIf your attorney fails to tell you the volume and page where the deed was recorded (this is the first time I've had that experience) you can easily obtain that information from the registrar of deeds.
