I can only speak to online orders (I live several states away) but I have been so impressed with the customer service! In the case of my most recent order I got a shipping confirmation within 40 minutes of ordering (FORTY! MINUTES!). Each time I've ordered I've recieved personal messages updating me on the order and when it will ship. So happy to support a local bookstore, even if it is not local to me.

We are long time patrons of Gibson's and love it. The staff are friendly and helpful, have great suggestions, and keep the store lively and well organized. The online store is terrific, and I was really glad to find what I was looking for -- and more -- and to order directly from them. It really boosts our confidence that they have a strict mask policy there -- that diligence helps us feel good about the place and the health and safety of the staff members we so like.

I have bought books from Gibson's both online and in the store. Very nice experience every time. Lots of stuff for kids of all ages (myself included), games, unique toys, gifts, and a large selection of used books too. Best independent book store I have been to.

Gibson’s Bookstore is my go to bookshop! I love the variety that they have in stock as well as all the bookish goodies they carry, like mugs, tees, and bags. Even if you aren’t sure what you’re looking for, the entire staff is incredible and so willing to go above and beyond to help. Gibson’s is also super community focused which I love!
