To say that my kitchen needed work is an understatement. I had a typical outdated kitchen, Java colored cabinets, white laminate countertops/backsplash with the 70’s gold flecks, and popcorn ceilings. Not only was it dated, but there were several failed DIY attempts made over the years that instead of saving me money, were a complete waste of time and money.nIn January 2020, I hired Rick Villandry Remodeling to renovate my kitchen. From the design process to the day of job completion, Rick and Rich were professional and innovative with ideas about how best to optimize the space and aesthetics in my home. I have lived with this kitchen for more than a year now and can honestly say I wouldn’t change anything about their design or their workmanship. From the lighting over the island and work spaces to the drawers and cabinet features that just make sense, to the recommendation from them to carry the new flooring from the kitchen to living room and foyer. My kitchen is not only beautiful but 100% functional for someone who loves to cook and bake. Rick Villandry Remodeling essentially gave me a new home and I am still as happy when I walk into my kitchen as the day I first saw the completed project. They have earned my trust and respect and I will never choose a different contractor. I already have them lined up for Summer 2021 for a deck and patio-can’t wait!

We hired Rick and Rich to replace an old deck on the back of our home, and we could not be happier with the results. The project turned out to be more complicated than we initially expected (by no fault of theirs, but rather because of some existing issues with the house that were uncovered during demolition of the old deck), and they handled everything perfectly, consulting us when needed and being completely transparent about any changes that were needed. They were conscientious of our family being home during the renovation, left the site cleaned up and organized each day, and were great to work with all the way from the initial designs to the completion of the project. We have already started talking with them about another project next year, and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Rick and Rich redid a failing wrap around farmer’s porch for us this spring. We could not have been more impressed with the way they managed the project, the attention to detail, and overall quality of work. We had some extensive landscaping done the prior year (stone walk way, new beds, new plants etc) that were right in the way of where the 8 4 foot deep footing for the new porch needed to be dug. They took the time and care to work around them and the day after the job was completed you could not even tell they were there. The secondary sub-contractors they brought in for electrical and paint are long time partners, and were also of the highest quality and professionalism. In all they went above and beyond throughout the job.nnThe highest compliment that I can pay to them is that based on the results and experience with of the porch project, we have already started design for our next project with them – converting a 2 season porch in to a 4 season addition. Rick, Rich and the rest of the team were a pleasure to work with during our basement remodel. The upfront design work was great and really helped us make the most of the space. We've had previous not so great experience with contractors, but were quite happy with the job Rick and team did. Good at explaining what was needed and why. Very clean throughout the process. great quality work and we are very happy with the results and would recommend him to anyone.

Rick, his son Rich and amazing crew remodeled two bathrooms for us this past summer. The craftsmanship, loads of TLC and hard, quality labor that went into updating and renovating these rooms are what made them two stunning features in our home. Rick was honest, listened to our wants and needs and went above and beyond to fulfill what we had hoped for. The bathrooms are absolutely stunning. We will certainly use Rick Villandry Remodeling for future projects!
