This company replaced our neighbors wooden fence with a vinyl one. It looks really nice, HOWEVER, when they were taking down the old wooden fence, they cut the bolt that we had connecting two of our own metal gates. Pretty disappointed as after they did this they did nothing to repair their mistake. Now that covid has settled down we spent our money to fix their damage and along with our time in installing new post. Besides what they did to our fence our neighbors fence look great.
BUYER BEWARE. During installation my sewer line was hit and concrete got in it. Higher water table prevents line from being deep. Took three weeks of calling to get someone. No one ever did call back just had to keep calling. Had to email photos. They have no way of knowing when they hit something is what I was told in a email. When I tried to call, to discuss email, was told everyone was running around the shop, left my number. Now more than 3 months no one has called back.
Great job of installation, a custom built privacy fence. However, gate post broke after a couple of years. I dug it out and it was obvious they used a post from another project where they had routered out holes for line rails. OK, no big deal, figure I'll call them and they'll make it right. They want to charge $500 to fix their error. I don't think so. So, buyer beware, you will get a good looking fence but they wont stand by their work.
American Fence has excellent products. They do not have a one-size fits all approach. They found out my desires and needs and then looked at the landscape to best evaluate the solution to my needs. The staff was excellent, from sales to installers, to administration who answered my questions.
The two crews that installed my fence were very good at their craft. They were quick and answered every question that I asked. Very pleased with the work they done,
