Baker’s called the police on a mother and her young daughter without any consideration of their medical exemption to the mask mandate and despite there being no close contact while grocery shopping. It’s extremely easy to “social distance” from others while shopping. Getting over the trauma Baker’s caused will be much more difficult for that child.nnMy grocery budget is likely too small to impact this store, but I’ll still be doing all my shopping else.

I, like many out there right now, am having a very difficult time. And some days are so much more challenging than other days. Today I gathered up enough courage to make it to the Fremont grocery store with my list of needed items. A long list because I go now as infrequently as possible. At the check-out counter, while being rang out by the cashier gal, I had a gentleman by the name of Treston (not sure the spelling is right here) was bagging up my groceries. Treston was singing along with the christmas carols that were playing on the overhead music system. Not loudly, but just casually and loud enough that he could be easily heard. What caught my attention was his light hearted, fun singing was completely off key. I don't know if this was on purpose or not, but it immediately brought joy and a smile to my heart. I told him, he was awesome and to stay happy. What I meant to say was, thank you for spreading your joy. My heart had been so heavy all day until then, and when I returned home, my entire attitude was so much better. Thank you for all those who are sharing their love and joy to others especially now. You may not always be able to do it. But you never know how much a smiling heart can do for someone else. God Bless you Treston, keep singing, and thank you again for sharing your joy which enabled me to feel good and share what a difference that made to me, as I'm sure you probably had no idea you made such a huge difference.

Very friendly and helpful
