I arrived without a reservation but having done some preliminary pricing online the two staff who checked me in were very helpful and professional (I'm sorry I didn't get your names). Room was clean, comfortable. Great for a last minute road trip stay. I wanted to personally recognize Dave, the overnight front desk who checked us out when we left really early the next morning before his shift ended. He was fast with the checkout process, super friendly, courteous, made sure we had coffee (it was already made and ready to go), just a down to earth, friendly, hard working human. Thanks Dave for ending our stay on such a positive note. We appreciate all of the staff who made the stay easy and stress free.
When we need a staycation. We are going back. soley cause the people who work here are NICE!! I mean we are a bigger family, 4 kids, 2 adults. clean, good breakfast, pet friendly! This was the break we needed! P.S. the night lady is super sweet! professional. And remember when staying some where be nice to the workers they have it hard enough as it is.
I have to give them a 5 star rating. They were so helpful, upgraded us to a suite to better accommodate our family. The pool was open and hot breakfast was served. The breakfast staff was very helpful and kind. I really enjoyed our stay and how kind everyone was. We will definitely be back!

The only reason I am not giving this place 5 stars is because my stays here have been limited during the Covid pandemic, so there are some things that I just can't rate. Breakfast is okay, its about the same as other HIE hotels I've visited, not the best but it will keep you from starving. The place is clean, the staff is nice. The rooms and bathrooms are both clean when I arrive so no complaints there. It is my go to whenever I have to stay in St. Cloud.
