Great night staff, very helpful.
The service was acceptable. No room came with a comforter, so be ready to bump up the heat. There was an unidentified, maddening, noise above our room that drove us bananas! The mattresses were uncomfortable as the springs dug into our backs. The diner out front was a quick way to get some grub. 3/5
My wife and I stay in quite a few hotels while on our travels and until we went to the diner, Patty's Place, I would have given it 3 stars. The gentleman that checked us in was not real enthused with what he was doing and obviously wanted to communicate as little as possible while getting the details handled, not good, not bad. The room was clean, would have brought it to 4 stars. The bed was uncomfortable but the rest of the room was nice enough for the price. When we went to the diner in the morning was what brought the curve way up. We were greeted when we entered by a woman that wanted us to feel welcome, three booths had just emptied and the server was hustling over to clean them up, she was very warm and inviting while she told us it would be just a moment. The food was very good and the service was excellent. The server told us she normally cooks and was just serving on Sunday morning to help out. Excellent atmosphere and good down to earth people. We will be going back.
