Don't call this number: Be warned!
While planning a trip to Sandy this week-with my 2 daughters, I decided that I wanted to surprise my 9-year old by setting her up for haircut appointment (she has been asking me for a bob style cut for weeks). As I always do, I checked Google Reviews and started making calls. I called Heads Up number, and was received with a harsh and very unfriendly, "What!!!" when the call was answered. It was so harsh and unfriendly in fact that I decided...no need to carry on the conversation, and hung up.
About 2 minutes later I received an enraged call from the same person (another number) stating that she had just had a medical procedure and proceeded to drop the f-bomb while telling me off and asking for me to put her on the do not call list.
I remain stunned and sad, as the ratings for this haircut place are great-but the person who answered at that number was very rude and unpleasant. If you don't want business, remove your listing from Google, or just keep answering the phone that way-both will have the same outcome.
Great place to get your hair done, LaVere has done hair for years he is amazing
I went to this salon and unfortunately I will not be back. The female stylist is very friendly and does a good job, but she does not sanitize her brushes or combs. She took me immediately after another client left and did not sanitize at all. She used the same brushes on me that she had just used on the other client. Another thing is, I woke up the next morning with 3 sores on the back of my neck where I had rested my head on the sink when she rinsed my hair. I urge them to sterilize the sinks and hair utensils more frequently. I have a doctor appointment to check if I caught a staph infection on my neck since that is what it looks to be. I don't like to write harsh reviews but wanted to warn others.
It was AWESOME!
Years ago I went to heads up because I was looking for a stylist to fix a botched hair cut. LaVere fixed me up, and I've been a client ever since. My husband and I go there once a month for our haircuts. We always get a solid cut, and LaVere is always pleasant and accommodating.
