Walgreens Pharmacy

I dropped off a prescription for two pain relievers, which I would think would be flagged as important. I was told 20 minutes and I returned in 45 minutes to be told they were out of one of the drugs. I asked them to double-check and they suddenly found the drugs. They told me 15 minutes and I returned in 20. They then told me another 15 minutes. Nice enough but my wife is sitting at home in pain after surgery waiting for these nice people and their poor attention to detail.

Great place to go too and the people that work there are very nice and helpful. They help you find things you can't find. They are always happy there. ud83dude04

Horrible pharmacy. Cannot fill anything in a timely manner. Go to CVS or a neighborhood pharmacy over this place. Terrible place.

I wish I could give no stars. Twice, the automated refill system promised that a prescription would be refilled, and when I went to the pharmacy, it wasn't available. The first time, I couldn't get any straight answers about the status, despite multiple calls. It took days to sort it out. The second time, I needed insulin syringes for my cat, and needed them right away because we had run out. (That's the point of refill, right?) Although the system said they would be available, once we got there, we were told the prescription was expired.nnShouldn't have been a problem though--in my state, by state law pharmacies are allowed to sell 10 syringes without a prescription--this is an effort to reduce the transmission of disease among drug addicts. Sounds like a reasonable idea, and should have meant that we could take care of our cat, to boot. But alas, no, not at this pharmacy. They wouldn't allow us to purchase them until 9:00 the next morning. Apparently, they're not forced to conform with the state law, and they don't want to risk the possibility that a drug addict might purchase a syringe from them at night, God forbid, perhaps even preventing the transmission of a disease. Never mind that this might greatly inconvenience a loyal customer, WITH AN EXPIRED PRESCRIPTION ON FILE, and mean that their cat does not get his much needed AND WELL DOCUMENTED insulin. When asked for a solution to the problem, the staff had no suggestions for us.Ridiculous. Don't go there.

Its getting very hard to use. Always a line. Inside or out. Make sure you get your own name and address. I was handed my name but different address. It wasn't mine. I don't mind the regular shopping. Some good deals with the Walgreens card.
