Good, clean, well taken care of. Nice Rooms. Helpful staff. Comfortable rooms.
Its a nice hotel, the beds are comfy, showers are great, staff is very friendly and the rooms are Super clean.nThere is a microwave in the room and a decent size fridge which I really enjoyed.nLocation wise its about a 15 minute walk to downtown Saint Paul. If you take the light rail which is 3 blocks from hotel its a 5 minute ride.nIf you are doing business with government offices, the location is ideal. The hotel is just a couple of blocks from the MN state capital.nIf you want to be in the middle of town where the night life is, restaurants and bars etc. I would not recommend the Best Western. There is not much around the hotel.nnAlso at night the area where the hotel is not so safe. Especially the Capitol Rice street light rail station is very shady. During the day its okay. Not a place I would recommend to single female travelers. If you take a taxi you should be fine.nnLastly the the electronic room key works 80% of the time. I had to make a couple of trips to the Front Desk to get new room key. It was annoying.nnOverall its a nice place.
First room was nasty but the next night and today was great the night manager is fantastic went above and beyond the call of duty..good looking sir..
Reduce capacity during the pandemic.
We used to stay at this hotel with it's inviting lobby and it's friendly lounge/restaurant staff and great food. Now the lobby is bare. The lounge is closed and the receptionist told us that if we needed housekeeping we could come down and get the supplies!
