I love this place. It's small, and quaint and everyone is so welcoming. I'm very new to this church and was warmly greeted when I walked in. I feel like I've made lifetime friends here,
The front door remains locked. We saw people enter the side door and followed them. Had we not seen them we would not have gone in. The side doors are not welcoming. Very odd. Nice people, very friendly. The front door being locked was beyond strange to me. The service was good. A bit long and felt redundant near the end.
I was looking for a true light on Christ and understanding of him. I went to multiple local churches and just didn't feel the connection from the spirit until I found Sandy Ridge Church. The preacher Derrek and his congregation were so welcoming. I've now been baptized and a full member. I welcome anyone who is looking for the truth to please come. See you there.
I have found a home at Sandy Ridge and part of that is a congregation that truly lives the "Come As You Are" statement. I have seen them embrace and love newcomers that many congregations would shun. I have never known a church so devoted to making a difference in their community and the world. Pastor Derek and their leadership team are awesome and the whole service fills my cup each week. I honestly miss it if I ever miss a week.
We were new to Utah and wanted to find a church to call home! We decided to try Sandy Ridge out and fell in love with it immediately! The congregation is so friendly and welcomed us with open arms. We have made many great friends. We would strongly recommend for those new to town or anyone just looking for a group to call family.
