Head’s up about this graduate school: It is not CACREP accredited. If you plan to ever practice addiction’s counseling or get your licensure as a counselor in other states, you’re going to have a tough time. They will accept anyone to this school and they will make it sound easy to get your licensure/certification in other states but it is really difficult. I graduated from here and it took me 7 months to transfer to MI. Now I am trying to get licensed as a national counselor and it’s been a really hard process because of my graduate education. By 2022 no one will be allowed to get licensed as a national counselor without having gone to a CACREP accredited masters program.
