This is my first experience using this system, and it’s been great! Leslie, my travel coordinator, was very friendly to talk with. She was thorough with my requests and very helpful in making changes with our reservations. It was great to have one location to set up rooms for our team and very easy to convey this info onto my team parents. It is so nice to have an actual person to personally connect with that will take care of our needs, especially during all of the uncertainty of these COVID times.
Traveling Teams has been very quick to respond to all of our needs. Booking multiple hotels for travel sports can get hectic and stressful. Leslie was always very quick to reply and helpful. We encountered a potential issue with the hotel we selected and Leslie was very efficient in solving this for us. We would be glad to work with Leslie and Traveling Teams again in the future.
Everyone was amazing. My team was to far from the rink and they moved us with no problem at all. Super accommodating. They responded to all my emails very quickly. Would book through them anytime.
AVOID!!nSports events should avoid these travel agencies. The parents want a better value for the price they pay the hotel right then book the hotel directly or call the hotel to make a group block. This agency takes commissions, rebates, points, fees, etc from hotels pockets and hotels have no choice but to increase the rate and even then it’s not really worth it for the hotel. Plus most hotels under 150 rooms are small business owned franchises so this corporation is making it harder for the small business and for traveling parents who just want their kids to enjoy the tournaments.
I have dealt with Fay Alcocer, a traveling team coordinator for a few years now. I cannot say enough about her professionalism and quick response to assist in booking hotels for our travel lacrosse team. This year, I made a big blunder with one of our hotel bookings. Fay, responded so quickly and was able to resolve my mistake right away. Every company should have employees like Fay representing them.
