I find $165 for under 20 min to be a tad bit over priced for a local resident who is not even 1 mile away from the business. That wasn't even the big issue - when we called on Wednesday 11/11/2020 spoke to a lady asked if they deal with home warranties, she wasn't real sure so she had to call us back. Was advised - yes we accept the warranty but we ask you to pay us and get reimbursed from them - yea sure no problem. Set the appointment for Thurs 11/12/2020 between 1-5. Called back the morning of at 8am and spoke to a different young lady, I wanted to ensure that when the tech arrives there will be no issue with the tech speaking to the home warranty rep. The process is the tech arrives we call warranty the tech speaks and gives a diagnosis and advises the rep what material and time is needed to fix the problem. I the home owner takes over the call and finishes the rest. She assured me this was NOT going to be an issue. Hahahaha joke on us - the first thing out of techs mouth was I dont talk to them. If it wasn't for no heat I would of told him to leave, thank God this was a DTE problem and not a problem for them to fix. The techs were very nice, not disrespectful it was clear they DONT deal with home warranties. Because this is not what I asked and was told I only give 2 stars. If an electrician is ever needed i will continue to shop around and pick another from Google. I will be thankful DTE had plenty of time to come and fix the issue from the pole.
