I reached out to have gas switched to electric for my washer and dryer, he went out and bought the parts and completed the work. After I paid him, the movers would not set up my appliances, I have contacted him for this and he has ignored me. I reached out to another business and they had to go out and get more parts that were missing, which cost me more money. Rude!

Hired this electrician to install an EV charger. Was quoted $750 with the condition they there would only be 10 feet of wire. I called him back a few days later after actually measuring it out because it was actually close to 50 feet of wire needed. I can't remember if he said it was $1 or $2 per foot as that is the cost to purchase the wire (his words). Also offered to prewire for two cars for $200. I asked what that means and was told that he would install a breaker box specifically so I would not have to drill another hole on the inside and the disconnect on the outside. The break box would have room enough for two wires for a second charger. To install a second charger I was told it would be another $150. so I'm thinking $1000 max.nnOn the day he was supposed to install it he was two hours late. He said per code he could not install a breaker box on the inside. The disconnect box on the outside of the house next to the meter would be where the chargers plug into instead. He fused it for 60 amps because I only had one charger. He repeated that all I have two do is pull a wire into that box and upgrade the fuse. When the bill came it was $1325. I asked what would it cost two add a second charger at this point. I was told $300-$400.nnI then spent the next two weeks trying to get him to produce a receipt.nnWhen DTE came to hook up service I asked how many amps is the service setup for. DTE said the electrcian installed 6 gauge wire and would be a maximum around 50 or 60 amps and that the entire meter would have to be rewired if I want 100 amp service for two chargers.nnSo I paid lots of extra money for a quick disconnect with two holes instead of one. I thought I was paying for all the prewiring needed to handle two chargers. Certainly having not to reinstall the disconnect later in order to have a second hole for the second charger helps but this was not what I was told I was paying for.nnThis is also dangerous as he said all I need to do is upgrade the fuse and pull another wire into the box to have 100amp service. He made no mention that the upstream wires could not handle it.nnIn the Stultz's defense the price came out to be about the same as others were quoting for just 1 charger. My problem is that I don't know what I was buying because something different was delivered and I don't know how much things cost because it was 30% over budget.
