Chemical Bank use to be my branch and when they were aquired by TCF I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue banking with them...now, I'm glad I never switched. TCF bank is great and the online banking is awesome.
After waiting 30 minutes on the phone for TCF customer service, I just went in for help. Dustin, the assistant branch manager, was very helpful and took care of the account issue in short order. Great branch service in person .
Since TCF has taken over my bank, my branches have all closed.
I love this place everyone is friendly especially Jessica she knows my name and when she's there she always greets me utilizing my name when I come through the door. Yeah there maybe a bit of a wait sometimes but its worth it for the customer service that branch provides...
I always go inside to do my banking, as I'm not willing to wait the extra couple of minutes it takes for the bonus comfort of staying inside my car. I only ever have to wait like 5 minutes, then my transaction is always taken care of very easily and quickly. I have never had any issues. There's no minimum balance, no overdraft fee if you choose that option. I love this bank.
