Delicious coffee, cozy atmosphere, and phenomenal service! This family run coffee shop has easily become one of my favorite go-to shops with their lavender latte being my ultimate favorite (so yum!). I enjoyed my latte with a piece of warm, homemade Blackberry Almond Cake, which I highly recommend! The Dark Chocolate Chip Sea Salt Cookies are AMAZING too! The art is constantly updated and created by very talented local artists. This is overall a beautifully ran business by a beautiful and warm hearted family who is ever so welcoming! Everyone should go try this amazing coffee and enjoy the art!

A wonderfully calm yet exciting place to be! The service is fast, pleasant, and you feel at home. The coffee is impeccable and they offer great options that are fresh and light but packed with flavor. The foods and sweets are freshly homemade and will be the best compliment to your visit. The art and lighting make your coffee even more comforting as you see the passion of many local artists displayed along the wall.nnDefinitely a treat to visit and enjoy!

New location. Very friendly service from Sarah. Neat concept of art sale/exhibition within a coffee shop. A little sparse feeling and not offering any dining indoors. Clean. Good product from Great Lakes Coffee. I recommend the cake. It is one of the best I've ever had! Good location and well done logo and design, being artistic, yet professional.

Where to start? The cappuccinos is the best around, the pastries are incredible and the concept is creative and new. I followed them to their new location and they haven't skipped a beat on quality and treating customers as if they are part of the family. The decor is beautiful and the art is always a reason in itself to visit but the addition of great quality coffee and the family who runs this establishment makes it an even more compelling reason to consistently come back! I highly recommend visiting black box coffee shop!

Do you like art? Yeah? Well do you like coffee?! Good. Then come and check out Black Box! They serve locally roasted coffee bringing the best of all coffee shops from the metro Detroit area under one roof. Great lakes, madcap, you name it. They also feature beautiful art from local artists! This is a truly great place. Just note that there is no seating and due to the pandemic you can't stand inside.
