We went to this park one week ago. Very cute, but we have home covered in ticks. We never left obvious mowed paths. Ticks like I have never seen in my life. Be very careful.
CLEAN & SERENE!nPicnic tables, walking paths, benches, boat launches, trees all around, grass to run on, fishing spots, sitting areas to enjoy the water and wildlife - just perfect!
Great park with a huge field to play in, not many trees other than the wood line but I wouldn't recommend going into the woods unprepared, however, tics are terrible down there.
Very clean, well laid out, but I wish they had more than one boat ramp.
fantastic park. lessly developed and bustling with wildlife as riverside floodplain park should be. good fishing & birdwatching. kaleidoscope of wildflowers all season. good boat launch. pick up your trash, stay on established trails you will have no problem with ticks.nnany future park features must keep this in mind, both for the wildlife populations that call this place home and the fact this place WILL inevitably flood annually in the early spring, too much development would be a useless & harmful endevour.
