Both of our children have been seeing OT/SLP therapists here for over a year and they have truly changed our lives for the better. They have helped us as parents to be able to support our children in the best ways possible. Our kids truly love who they are working with; and we feel genuine care from them in return. We could not ask for a better experience. Financially - any therapy is going to be expensive. We are paying for a service that these people have put their entire life's work into. We have found that the rewards outweigh our financial burdens in excess. Also, the Family Hope Foundation provides scholarships twice a year which is incredibly helpful!

I came here for six years as a kid. The staff is friendly and the place has a nice, quiet, atmosphere. Very nice place, and overall, if you have a choice, enroll your child here. No complaints. :)

Excellent therapy center for children of all ages and abilities. We have used the Center for speech and occupational therapy for two years (so far) and cannot recommend them enough. The staff is excellent and the pricing is extremely fair, which helps a lot with medical costs! We love our therapist here.

best come with a fat pocket.... medicaid is apparently to highly ammusing to even answer a straight question without twisted up word games repeating the same non answer to questions what are not being asked. so fun!

We’ve used Center for Childhood for multiple kids for years. The therapists are great and I love that they do tons of ongoing training. The open, play based atmosphere is fun, beats doing speech therapy sitting at a desk in what could be a large closet (like Mary Free Bed). They offer Speech, OT and PT for kids of all ages. They do accept some insurance and their cash pay rate is INCREDIBLY affordable. Mary free bed and Helen Devos are is the range of $250-$350/therapy session. Compare that to $120/session (the rate we paid when we cash paid). I’ve had kids in therapy long enough to remember when NO ONE took any insurance and they were some of the first of the small offices in the area. Their rates are some of the lowest in the area, very competitive. If it’s still too expensive then you need to consider GVSU or Calvin speech clinic or Easter seals. Also look into the family hope foundation therapy grants.
