The only problem im having at Coleman a young. Is that when she's late she's marked absent anyway, she may only be a minute late, and there by 9am but she's marked absent. I'm disabled which makes it hard on me in the morning, I suffer from sickle cell disease, and most mornings I feel horrible, sometimes I have a late start because of this illness which can be unpredictable and it's not like this is what I want at all, I use to have a support system who was my mom, who helped me in the mornings especially when I felt bad, but my mom fell ill in August of last year, she had a stroke and she didn't make it, in January she passed and now it's just me, so if I wake up with a late start where I know she's gonna be a little late, I feel like why bring her at all if she's gonna be marked absent anyway. I wish DPS would work with parents who have illnesses that's beyond their control sometime. I know when I was in school because I was the student they really worked with my mom, but it's not like that for me. I have a lot more to say about DPS, more so than coleman a young elementary, I absolutely love the school, I just wish we can find a way to work with the disabled!

I dont like CAY .I used to but now I dont .They are to nosy in kids lives.They are to strict alot of kids in my class left before the school after half the year.I dont recomend this school at all .
