I worked with the students, administrators and staff of Detroit's Louis Pasteur public elementary school as a volunteer. I was heartened and impressed by the whole Pasteur Community. The students were courteous and attentive. They worked very well together. Staff are skilled and dedicated. The principal and assistant principal were excellent leaders. We had lots of fun planting fruit trees and a garden in May of 2015.nThe grounds were immaculate. The neighborhood seems stable. If Pasteur is the model, I feel very optimistic about the Detroit Public schools. This is a wonderful, safe, educational community.

For now I give them 4stars. I am choosing for my 4year old to attend this school because of the reviews as well as the up keep of the school. I've had the pleasure of speaking 2 of their Preschool teachers Mrs.Morris and Mrs. Hicks they both seem really great. The school seems to have everything inorder and the preschool hallway is so beautiful. School starts 9/28/15 I can't wait!!!!

great school so far, i am a parent of a child that has been attending this school since pre-k and i love this school, he has really improved in reading and math and he loves this school and his teachers, i attend all to field trips and i volunteer my time in helping out to assist and donating as much as possible. i will recommend this school to everyone!

Caring staff and teachers. Really care about the students. I am an alumni and now my children attend. Sharon Lawson is a great principal.

Ms.Hicks is great very attentive school is so cheerful the students love her...I daught now reads above average!...thank you Ms. Hicks..
