We can’t say enough about Lisa Ringler as our travel expert. She takes the time to really listen and understand what is important to us. Keeping our family safe during this time of social distancing and the pandemic is very important to us. We are getting ready for a wonderful tour of the Grand Canyon. Lisa has even started encouraging us to plan early for a family vacation in 2021. We would not consider planning travel without her expert advice. We look forward to years of adventure with Lisa. She makes our travel effortless and safe.

I have rarely used a travel agent for personal travel, but was planning a trip to Spain with some quirky details (everyone coming from various locations around the US, and flying in/out of different cities in Spain). I did not feel comfortable trusting myself to make the more complex reservations, so contacted Kate at Departure Travel. She was terrific to work with - very willing to accommodate working around the various locations, difficult logistics, and recommended some great things to do while there. I also had some specific ideas about where I wanted to stay, being familiar with the cities, and Kate was able to work around our preferences as well.nnThe trip was further complicated when one of the travelers became ill after flying to the US city of departure and was not able to continue the trip. Kate was able, with only a few hours' notice, to cancel and get refunds for most of the costs for that traveler while the rest of us went on with the trip. I would never have been able to do all of this on my own.nnI wondered how travel agencies have stayed in business with all the travel websites now available and so many travelers making their own reservations. Now I know - the customer service provided by Kate and others like her is an invaluable asset. Highly recommend this service and this agency in particular.

Great American Express approved travel agency. Jeanie did a great job for our trip to Kuwait for a Persian Gulf trip. We also went to Jordan. Jeanie is very experienced travel agent. I highly recommend Jeanie for all your travel needs!
