The chinese school here is a joke. They don't teach you anything, it's more like review. They expect you to already know what they're supposed to teach, before you are taught it. They humiliate any kids who don't already know what they haven't taught yet. The days I spent there were more depressing than when my close friend died.
i do like the teachers and options for languages but however there is a lack in diversity for food. sometimes grades are unfair but whatever i think if you are new to the bps district I think derby is a good choice
Good school. Good teachers. There is even a Game Club on Thursdays after school!
it's okay some teachers are pretty good, but not all of them.
As a former Derby Dragon alum, I believe that the only thing saving this establishment is the man, the myth, the legend: Glen Auten himself. He coaches the prestigious Derby Red Men's Basketball team and did quite a damn good job if I say so myself. I learned many lessons in that gym that I can apply to my life on and off the court. When one says ball is life, they mean it. I am no different to this statement, as the whole team that I spent my 5am winter mornings with: is my family.
