Staff was helpful and even was able to order a wine I've been looking for.
Amazing quant little shop. With knowledgeable people and a friendly atmosphere it's the perfect place to pick up wine. Weather it's for everyday or that special one they have something at every price range.
This is a wonderful wine store! Helene is so knowledgeable and works hard to make the buying experience a pleasure.
I went here in the summer of 2017 and purchased a delicious bottle of sparkling Rose'. I tossed the bottle I could not remember the name of the wine so I went back but it was a different wine store even decorated differently and they didn't have the wine or have a clue as to what I was talking about. Then just like that it was closed, but opening soon. I kept going back until it was open again. Well to my surprise at some point in the summer/spring of 2018 it was open with a new owner, cute as a button, petite red head. To my dismay also a dog lover and as clean to eye as the place was it smelled like dog and I like dogs but I'm not a lover of dogs certainly not to the point where the dog walking around freely didn't bother me. This place has changed hand a few times so their may be a new manager/owner.
I stumbled into Birmingham Wine hoping to find a very specific bottle. While it wasn't available in their store at that time, they offered to try to order it. They were super quick with their reply to me (and friendly!), and they were actually able to get it in at a lower price than another local store that sells it. I'll definitely be back to Birmingham Wine!
