Great park with a nice beach are for the summer. Disc golf course is a ton of fun. The park is well maintained and has lots of activities in a relatively small area. There are several different parking areas(4) that are all easy to reach from one another. Several portable toilets are out, but not all are open yet due to early season and COVID.
We visited this park to play a round of disc golf. We tried out all 20 holes. It seemed like a nice park. The porta-potties were not open while we were there. Some tee pads had ice on them, but the snow was in the process of melting, so it was to be expected. It's definitely a multi-use park. I'm guessing during the summer half of the holes are not usable due to people and events that would be in the way. You don't want to accidentally got people after all.
The first time I went to Ross Park I was a small child. Now I am 37 thousand years old, have gone by countless names and have continued to enjoy the various facilities and features of the park: the deep-ass woods, the sandy-ass beaches, the picnic-ass tables, the base-ass ball fields, the porta-ass johns, the parking-ass lots, the disc golf-ass course, the play-ass ground equipment, the scenic-ass views and grassy-ass grass. It's all top-ass notch. 5 emphatic-ass stars for this park that helps to relieve my eternal torment. There are no fearsome creatures to summon from the deep-ass waters of Mona Lake.
There is a compact car inside my brain with cosmic halogen headlights. These lights can either boil water to cook rice or gaze upon Ross Park with the clarity of a thousand lifetimes. The beauty of the park reveals itself to me through my cosmic sight and delivers wonders to the very back of my mind, into the deepest corners of my subconscious. Plenty of picnic tables, enough for at least as many as several.
Nice little park. We were there Geocaching. ud83dude02
