I loved running, hiking, biking and bringing friends to this trail. But then the water level of Muskegon rose a couple of years ago and covered key areas. Since, the trail is impassible. Doesn't look like the City is interested in building bridges to regain its use. Shame, shame. It was a great asset, but evidently not appreciated by those in charge.
I love the bike trail....can't wait until they finish the rebuild.
Great trail, well maintained, lots of different views. There's access all along the trail with multiple parking lots to use (not specifically for the trail) In some areas there are sitting pagodas, benches and trash cans and easy access for fishing on some of the lookout decks.
Bring your mask snorkel and flippers
Beautiful but a little hard to get around because of the construction.
