As a kid, living in Muskegon, we always went here for weekend beach days, even though it was farther to go. We loved it. Fewer people, more space, cleaner clearer water. Of late, the facilities, especially the campgrounds, had been showing their age. On my most recent trip, I see that the park is getting a face lift, especially the restrooms. When the new playgrounds are finished, I'll give the park *****.
