Overall a positive experience. The only downside is due to covid it is a drive up service. You park and call, they come out and take your animal inside and examine them.nThat's fine with the exception being that you lose the conversation with the veterinarian as far as any questions that may come up at the moment.

In December 2020 my dog was diagnosed with cancer. I took him because he had what looked like inflammation around his gum and thought it was due to his extra baby canine. The vet removed the canines only to tell me the “bump” was very hard and that he had taken a biopsy. That he didn’t know what it was. Days later he was diagnosed with oral SCC. He was referred to OVRS and since then I have not heard from Anchor bay vet. Not one call to ask about how my dog is doing or anything. About a month and a half ago I called because he was having recurring seizures. I was told his file would be left at the doctors desk and since then I have not heard back! I trusted this vets office but after everything that has happened I have lost trust.

(December 28, 2020)nI would like to thank Dr. Zaffer and his staff for being so caring and compassionate for us and our cat.nOur cat was acting a little off and had lost weight. We called the office and explained they got us in right away and did a full blood workup and x rays. Dr. Zaffer showed me the xrays and explained and showed me what the problems were but we would have to wait for the bloodwork.nThat was right before Christmas. Then he called me today and explained what was wrong and the options. He truly cares about the animals and us. I would recommend him to any animal owner.nn(2 years ago)nI wanted to say Thank you to Dr. Zaffer and his staff. Saturday two of my kitties got into some foam insulation when my husband was working on the house. My long hair tortie was the worst. I called my vet and they could not see them and told me to contact a groomer. I couldn't get anyone to help me. I called Anchor Bay Veterinary Center and they told me to bring them right in. I got there and they took them right back and started working on them. While the girls in the back were cleaning them up. Staff up front called ASPC Poison control for me to check on the product toxicity and recommendation. Thankfully it was not toxic. That was a scary time. They took me in, took care of my kitties. Again thank you, you were there when no one else was.

Very fast service and quick test results. Price was more than I was expecting. Very good diagnostic imaging.
