I had an issue with a set of folding closet doors I bought online. While part of the issue was my fault (my measuring skills are apparently on trial now) the other was an issue from the manufacturer. I called Menards (chesterfield location) and without issue, their customer service shined and I got the problem resolved. Later, I had to return some parts but the lady at the front desk was patient and helpful and did it all with a sincere smile. I truly felt like my issue mattered to her.nThis location is always very clean and they have TONS of the things I need (though occasionally I have to special order certain items and the wait can be extensive ).
Found what I needed
I went to Menards for some plumbing fittings. Menards has a very well stocked plumbing department. I found everything that I was looking for, eventually. By eventually I mean it took quite a while to find what I needed. I do a lot of shopping in the large home improvement stores and do a good job of navigating the isles and finding what I need but here I just couldn't figure out the organization. I am not sure what I was missing but nothing was where it was marked to be. Like I said they have a great plumbing department just needs some attention.
The prices are decent but don't go there expecting people to be around every corner to help you. It could be the fact that nobody wants to work and they are understaffed at this time or the way they keep their prices lower is not having somebody around every corner to help you. Also it's like going into a different grocery store then your normal one. Everything is set up crazy and it's hard to figure out the scheme of the store
