Amazing carriages, historical records and photographs, tack, oh ... yeah, and beautiful horses too. All in a well-kept facility with knowledgeable staff. Great for all ages!
Beautiful. Loved that I could go inside and see the horses and carriages.
This was a very cool excursion. It started with a short hike up the hill, going up the main drive past the hotel entrance drive. About a quarter mile up there is a sign for the carriage barn. The main room is full of an antique carriage collection that rivals the one at Ford's Greenfield Village. Fabulous. Next to that is the stable with the amazing horses, and a n antique tack collection. Well worth the time and walk.
Loved it! Vintage carriages all shined up and on display with a short story on each one. Very interesting. They dont allow visitors very close to the stabled horses but still s fun place to visit while on the carriage tour.
Such beautifully kept facility for those majestic horses
