We have struggled trying to find a vet that my very nervous and protective Bull mastiff (as well as myself) feels comfortable with. We seen Dr. Lorrie at our appointment and she was wonderful with my dog. I usually have to muzzle my dog at the vets before they are able to touch her but NOT with Dr. Lorrie. Dr. Lorrie was kind, compassionate, and listened to and addressed everyone of my concerns. My dog was more comfortable than I have ever seen her in the vets office and she's 7!nToday we had an urgent situation with my moms dog. I reccomended that she let me take her to Tecumseh Veterinary Hospital. Not only did Dr. Ed fit us into their schedule they also stayed late to perform surgery. We could not have asked for better care than we received. My elderly mother is grateful beyond words that they saved her best friend and companion.nThey provided excellent care to our pets, answered ALL of our questions, and offered compassionate care to our animals and us. Great Team. We have found our new vet. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING.

Based on a friends recommendation we made an appointment to this vet. Our dog was given a difficult diagnosis and we were told to do nothing or got to MI State for an MRI, surgery, and chemo. We wanted to get a second opinion on some middle ground to provide comfort care for our pet. We were 5 minutes late (driving from the town over) and we were told we couldn’t be seen. There was no time today but we could come in 5 days. We explained that our dog may not be alive in 5 days and they offered the number to another vet. We have multiple pets but won’t be switching to this vet based on this. Who doesn’t have 5 minutes for a pet in need? Who can’t take the extra time to make sure a pet is as comfortable as possible? Who turns away a sick pet in the parking lot for being 5 minutes late? These people do.
