Henry Ford Allegiance Specialty Hospital

I was admitted to the hospital on Saturday morning. The ER team got me right in and through triage to a room in the ER. I had an amazing team that took care of me in the ER. I was then admitted to the 5th floor to stay on bed rest until my previously scheduled back surgery. The team of nurses and techs were so wonderful, and very attentive, they gave me my medications to make sure I was as comfortable as i could be. I had surgery on Monday and was transferred to the towers 7th floor for my recovery. I stayed there for 3 days. The team of nurses and techs on the 7th floor were just as amazing as the rest of teams that cared for me.nI could not have asked for or gotten better service and care. I would go back for any needs. 5 stars is all you can give but I would give every employee that cared for me 10 stars if possible.

Recently visited the E.R. for a broken foot. During that time most people had mask on. It was close to 5pm when this visit happened. Were told 10 people ahead of us. Triaged within 15 minutes of visit. The nurse had a mask and gloves on. Very polite. Then put back in the crowded waiting room. Waited 90 minutes then xrays were done. Again mask and gloves. Felt comfortable with infection controls. But again to wait room. The person beside us within 4 feet sleeping. A nurse came by looking for a certain notification box number. She did not have gloves or a mask. She was looking for a number not a person. No hand sanitizer just kept on picking them up off people's laps and looking. At approximately 2 hrs of wait time a doctor (?senior resident) came out to get my husband for evaluation. No mask no gloves no hands washed or sanitizer. He takes the wheelchair that the triage nurse touched, the xray person touched, and now him. Wheels him to the other side of the E.R. and opens the cubical door. 2 persons are already in the room. We go to next room. T.v. was so loud had a hard time hearing each other. I asked if it could be turned down and nobody seemed to know how or where the controls were. So gave up. The doctor introduced himself and the resident that would be caring for him. Since my husband has under lying diseases that complicates fractures. The senior person told the resident what to examine and why. Then said I'll go do the orders and get the boot for his foot. During all this never seen a mask or gloves. Until the resident brought his pair out of his pocket. ? Maybe also kept his spare change there. Dirty gloves? Didn't matter because he didn't do any of what the senior/doctor told him to do. He was suppose to check his neck and spine for bruises or breaks. Since this was a non witnessed incident. And ? a fall. Because of his age. Then check crutch ambulating for fit and not rubbing around under arm. The nurse (masked) came in with the boot for his foot. Gave us discharge instructions. And helped us out to the car. We had our masks on the whole time. We also live in Florida. Took a plane here for a wedding. 2 things that should make anybody nervous. We felt great with the efforts we made to stay healthy. But if any place we might get it or give covid-19 was those residents/ doctors. I pray they stay healthy.nSo on the score. The staff were polite and friendly. But staff needs a reminder to not let their guards down. Mask, mask, mask. Wash hands, sanitizer when can't use soap and water. And keep a safe distance away from people if able. Plus one last thing. The new nurse to triage needs her pants pulled up and maybe adjusted. Her underwear was showing and I just prayed they stayed on. Very unprofessional.

This place has a very attentive caring staff, which helps you get back on your feet with the help of rehab as quick as possible. I never had a problem with them taken care of pain management, but each person's situation is different.

This is the only place I will go I could not ask for a better bunch of of ppl who treat you like you are family I've always had a good experience while staying here there alitte under staffed but they make the best of it and make it work and everyone is wonderful and understanding i would recommend carelink to anyone im only 37 and have been coming here for over 8 years now

This place will not treat severe pain with anything other than over the counter meds.
