Ionia County Friend of Court

Erin Randall has to be the worst concilator ever. I have had issues attending 2 court hearings due to not having transportation to Ionia, however, I was told that nothing could be done to assist me. I'm not asking for anyone to bend the law, but there needs to be some way that FOC could work with people who have transportation issues. Not everyone can travel to Ionia to attend court hearings. I was told by another FOC employee to request a telephonic hearing, but was denied.nnMy child's dad gets away with parentalnalienation and other negative things, including turning my child against me, yet this lady continues to side with him. I've written 2 grievance complaints against Erin Randall and Jessica Wierckz has denied both of them when I've asked for a new concilator. I called and left 5 voicemails for this so-called concilator/mediator and she never returned my calls. She went so far as to claim I had never called her. The lies she tells to avoid taking responsibility is absurd. Finally, after calling a 6th time Erin decided to call back in December 2019. This FOC employee is horrible. Jessica Wierckz is just as bad when it comes to my grievance complaints. Just because Erin says something that doesn't mean it's true.nnI've received responses to complaints and motions with blatant untruths by Erin Randall and Jessica Wierckz. It's ridiculous how my concerns and complaints against Erin Randall have been dismissed and brushed off. Erin is a liar, PERIOD!nnI appreciate the other FOC employees, especially Mary Izzard who were willing to help me by listening to my situation and answering my questions. The other 2 employees are apathetic at best.

Sat in the waiting room for almost 10 minutes being ignored by the receptionist. So unprofessional!

I am a kid, but the only time i went there was to see my dumb biological mom. Ever since then, i thought it was a really bad place because she said things she wasn't supposed top say,so i give it a 3 star rating and u people that give it 1 star, you are doing a bad thing. They are doing a lot of work for u. So i give it 5 stars.

Trying to get a child support review from these people is like a slow and painful death. They not only sent me forms after forms to fill out, but sent them 2 and 3 times saying they could not locate the originals I filled out with all my tax filings, then saying you have 14 days to return them or you could receive an unfavorable review. Then of course they tell you it takes up to six months to review a case, yes it takes that long because they are in no hurry that's for sure. So by the time they even started on mine, I was evicted from my home, child support was still being deducted for my son three years after his eighteenth birthday. Yep you heard correctly, he is 21 now and they still have me paying child support to my ex for him [No not because there are unpaid child support either] and the only way to stop it is to ask for a review. How wrong is this, I'm homeless and eating dog food because of negligence on the part of their very own mistakes.

My daughter is now 22 yrs old .. dead beat dad owes $24,000 in child support still.. they threaten to lock him up if he doesn't pay ..nThese people carry empty threats ..nGood thing I am an independent women, who worked like a honest person and raised my daughter ..
