This little gallery has a lot of local flavor. Attached to a great restaurant as well. Maybe not the highest end shopping, but if you're looking for lesser known area artists start here and you might just find an undiscovered gem or two. Can't beat the setting on Old Mission Peninsula.

We had an absolutely wonderful lunch here on a dreary September day. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, lots of woodwork, soft, plush carpets, paintings of fruit and flowers and trees on all available wall surfaces including the bathrooms. Sheer curtains and tied back drapes on the many windows. On the day we were there, guests included a table of workers in denim and steel toed boots, a group of women of a certain age, and a variety of tourist. In other words, a place for everyone.nnThe food was very good: whitefish sandwiches with fries. Local wine. Coffee and key lime pie for dessert. The pie is extraordinary. Really, try it if you go there. The serving was very generous, definitely enough for sharing. The service was great: attentive but not invasive, prompt, friendly, genuine.nnWe wandered through the attached art gallery after lunch and admired a myriad unique exhibits of art: paintings, sculptures, blown glass, metal. It was a pleasant interlude and we highly recommend you stop at Old Mission Tavern for a meal and a visit.
