I have been dealing with quarrenteen recently in a Nursing Home, and the nurse at Lakeland ( Elia) was the best! going out of her way to make this situation as good as possible. I need to get that out, it's easy to complain about the restrictions but I don't want to pass up the chance to say Thanks! the little things make a big difference.

I was very displeased with having to walk outside in the cold to reach the cardiac rehab. This entrance needs to be enclosed and heated for the benefit of patients, staff and visitors. Having to walk outside could aggravate certain patients conditions and be costly to the hospital.

My Dad spent 2 days in the CCU, following respiratory arrest, that led to cardiac arrest, leaving him on a ventilator, with brain damage, and internal bleeding. The prognosis was very poor, and we did end up making the choice, as a family, to take my Dad off the ventilator and let him be at peace. I cannot put into words how much the kindness and compassion of the doctors and nurses meant to us. We felt like our Dad got taken good care of, and like we were leaving him in good hands. We were treated like a concerned and grieving family, and there was always a doctor or nurse willing to answer our questions for the 10th time, or taking their time to help us understand what our Dad was going through. The doctor helped us feel confident and secure, with compassion understanding, that we were making the right choice for our Dad. My Dad was a beautiful person and very loved. All of us being able to be there, all of his children's hands on his heart as he took his last breath is a memory I'll never forget. And the compassionate doctors and nurses made that happen. Thank you. I do have to say, Deb Johnson RN BSN MBA AVP love and respect chief experience officer did everything she could to disrespect us, treat our family coldly and with no compassion, and make what we were going through even more difficult and painful. Someone at Spectrum needs to look into her position there and give her some training in compassion in end of life situations. Overall, I'm thankful my Dad had the team he did, may God bless you guys and keep you showing kindness, compassion, and good care to your other patients and their families.nn~~~the Shely family

poor attitude, poor quality, poor institution, poor workmanship, poor people who end up dying in their care

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. They do not look into any problems, the staff is very unprofessional and take their SWEET time with everything they do. They are horrible at explaining things and diagnosing people. I wouldn’t even take my dog here. The French toast sticks were the best part of our 48 hour stay. 10/10 do not recommend anyone ever coming here.
