I use Chicago Title in St. Joseph for the majority of my closings and have never had a problem. I see some negative reviews on this list, but please understand there are other locations which do not perform at the same level as the St. Joseph, MI, office. If you're going to use Chicago Title, use the one in SJ!

INCOMPETENT. We sold and closed on our home June 2013. We were given 3 different final figures for closing costs that were all wrong. Even when I pointed out that I believed the final numbers were wrong and the presumed mistake prior to the closing, I was assured that the figures were correct. After waiting over 4 hours at our closing- we were left scrambling to obtain another certified check before our bank closed when the numbers were ultimately wrong. They were very unprofessional and we were extremely unhappy with their lack of knowledge and competence. I would never recommend this company!
