This is a great place to shop with tons of beverages and food and there is a pizza area inside too. There is lots of things to buy here and is a great place to get some food for a great day on the lake!
Just had a very pleasant experience after a grumpy encounter with a competitor down the street. Here they provided a delicious meal with friendly service.

I want to thank the General Store for opening and providing delivery and take out services for our community. We had pepperoni and gluten free ciao pizza and they were delicious.
The General Store is Under New Ownership and they are great people. Ordered a 16 inch Pizza with everything and it was awesome. The only suggestion would be to add delivery. Nobody in Elk Rapids offers delivery. It would be a good niche.nnA suggestion to the new owners, you can contact Google to remove the bad reviews that were not yours.
