Very nice water, it’s shallow for quite a ways but it’s a great spot for a quick dip
Little Beach area with parking for about 4-5 cars. Water is quite shallow for a ways, so it's nice for little kids. No Sandy Beach, just a grassy area with one picnic table. The swimming area is clean of litter, but the substrate is a mix of sand and gravel. The kids love it, but parking can become an issue. Nice alternative to lake Michigan if it's a beach hazard day.
Small gem to swim in West Michigan , please do not ignore dnr posts (if posted upon your visit)for water quality if posted , this is a small lake great for tubing or fishing as well .nnNote*nswimmers itch has been reported every year for non compliance to dnr postings ( typically during the very hot hot months or after treatment)
my grandparents had a cottage on Lake ave, right in front of Sacketts house. they owned this from 1954 to 1985, great memories on this lake
