Fun place to go during the summer to swim or fish. There is a boat launch too!
I have been going to Lake George with my children and now my grandchild since this lovely, spring-fed lake was opened to the public back in the day (year?); 25 to 30 years. Both sides are well kept, the staff is always friendly and helpful, BUT the lake is pristine. I highly recommend Lake George.
We helped a Scout with their Eagle service project and the park is beautiful and well maintained.
Parking is limited, but otherwise my family had a great time. Lots of room and shade to relax. The water is nice and shallow for the kids with a sandy area to play.
Great Place to swim for free, or drive all the way past the boat landing and pay to use the big swimming area. Awesome lake to spend the day on as well. Facilities are available as well. Worth a visit!
