If it's going to be your first time exploring Sunkhaze, would highly recommend this trail. Not a great hike in the spring because as you get closer to the Meadows the more wet it will be. Early spring time you wont even be able to get to the observation platform at the end due to the flooding. However great all other parts of the year, even did it last winter (bring snowshoes though).
